From our office staff to our talented and compassionate group of caregivers, every member of our team is professional and well trained. We conduct a thorough screening and interviewing process to identify the best home care providers, and only those who pass this process go on to complete training to deliver our special brand of home care and become Comfort Keepers®. What truly sets our people apart, though, is their natural gift for caring for others. 

All Comfort Keepers pass extensive background checks and complete continuing education. They are bonded, insured and covered by workers' compensation insurance to protect our clients and their families.

Before founding the Franklin, Blairsville and Gainesville Comfort Keepers® senior care franchise in 2004, Dr. Bruce and Zoe King owned a management consulting firm for 30 years. They decided, after their children grew up and left home, it was time for a career change. They wanted to give back to their community which had provided so much.

They started researching home care franchise opportunities to find the right fit, in which they could practice their business skills while improving the lives of others. The perfect opportunity, they discovered, was Comfort Keepers, with its emphasis on making a significant, positive difference in the lives of older adults who want to maintain their independence at home.

Every day with Comfort Keepers makes them more convinced they made the right choice. They continue to be amazed by the tremendous difference Comfort Keepers elder care makes in improving seniors’ quality of life.

General Manager

Born and raised in the local community. Has been with Comfort Keepers for six years.

Nancy Blackadar

Registered Nurse

Joined Comfort Keepers in 2005. Has worked in home health for 18 years, and has been an RN for 20 years.

Dana Morgan

Senior Billing and Payroll Assistant

Senior accounts and payroll coordinator. Dana has been with Comfort Keepers for four years. She was born and raised in the North Georgia area.

Kayce Everett

Scheduler

Kayce Everett is the franchise's scheduler. A Certified Nursing Assistant, she has been with the company since 2012 after starting work as a caregiver. She moved to the office as an administrative assistant, and was recently promoted to her current role.

Crystal Potter

Supervising LPN

Crystal Potter is the supervising LPN. She has been with the company for two years, and does intake assessments on new clients, supervises the staff in the field and is a key member of the caregiver hiring team.

Mark Townsend

Marketing Representative

Has been with Comfort Keepers since July 2013. Has a B.A. in Mass Communications, and a M.S. in Human Behavior. Has lived in area for 16 years.

Alana Craig

Administrative assistant

Alana Craig is the franchise's administrative assistant. She has been with the company since December 2013.
